In the yesteryears, the internet used to be a novelty that only technically savvy people operating computers had access to but thanks to the cellphone, it has reached countless everyday people from all walks of life. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>People are using the phone to do all sorts of crazy things today \u2013 learn stuff, make friends online, apply for jobs and even earn money with internet-based businesses! The possibilities are truly endless. And all of this has been powered by rapid innovations in tech and semiconductor electronics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As we go from one generation of cellular technology to the next, the systems get more complicated, enabling us to achieve much more with those devices. But we must take pause and reflect on its effects on us as well.
